On a recent weekend, we visited a friend's newly renovated house and garden in Portola Valley. While Ryan was busy chasing Ole and Tera, we enjoyed the leisure afternoon with friends in a beautiful and relaxing garden .
Ole and Tera are certainly Ryan's favorite buddies now. Yesterday I asked who he would like to invite for his birthday party next year. He initial list only included aunty Denise and cousin Tony and quickly, he added Ole and Tera, two australian shepherd dogs....
Ole is mellow and easy-going.
Tera is sensitive and territorial. Just like children, they have their own personalities.

been a long time since last checked up your blog.. wowo.. Ryan is so mature now.. Life there at SFO looks no nice.. with the garden and the sunshine..cant' wait to pay you a visit .. that is ..of course..after Megan can walk and bear the long -hr flight..
always hear stories of Ryan from mom.. he is so funny..and so bright.. of course..need more parenting..and extra care.. think you have done a wonderful job..

Speaking of visiting you all, as you know there might be some change in my job situration, I'm waiting until that settles. I cannot wait to book my trip. I can only hope that it will be early next year....
